The story
Nephi's Gate is a Shiblon Software app built on a simple idea: read scripture before you scroll. Set a daily reading goal, pick the apps that distract you, and they stay locked until your reading is done.
It uses Apple's official Screen Time and Family Controls APIs, so the lock is real, with no hacks or workarounds.
Highlights
Daily reading timer
An animated progress ring tracks your session. Hit your goal and the gate opens.
App blocking
Selected apps stay locked through Screen Time until your reading is complete.
Built-in reader
Read the Book of Mormon in the app, or jump to Gospel Library or the official Book of Mormon app.
Streaks and reminders
Track your streak and personal best, with an optional daily reminder.
